Governance and Media Scope
The Snowflake product is built on curated audit outputs rather than raw operational data. Governance is part of the product, not an afterthought.
Current publication position
Section titled “Current publication position”The current sample release includes:
- curated site and audit summaries
- movement, dwell, trace, inventory, facade, intercept, and observation datasets
- geospatial enrichment and provenance fields
- governed plan image links where relevant
The current sample release does not include:
- photo or video media publication through
PHOTOGRAPHY
Why media is not in the sample
Section titled “Why media is not in the sample”The sample is intentionally tighter than the paid product scope. Photo and video media can be made available as required as part of the paid offering, once the right publication controls and packaging are agreed.
Plan images versus photo and video media
Section titled “Plan images versus photo and video media”These are not the same thing:
- Plan images are governed spatial reference assets used to interpret mapped observations.
- Photo and video media are broader observational media and are not included in the sample listing.
Derived geometry
Section titled “Derived geometry”TRACE_PATHS and FACADE_QUALITY include derived geometry built from:
- SVG source paths
- georeferenced plans
- geometry derivation methods recorded in the export
This means the geometry is suitable for analysis and visualisation, but should be described as derived linework rather than native GIS capture.
Qualitative content
Section titled “Qualitative content”INTERCEPT_RESPONSES and OBSERVATIONS contain curated qualitative content that has already been reviewed through audit curation. Even so, qualitative detail should still be packaged intentionally and matched to the right commercial tier.
Commercial implication
Section titled “Commercial implication”The listing should be treated as a governed product with clear scope, not as a raw dump of everything available in the source platform.
